Chefscapades, the annual fundraiser for Interfaith Community Shelter, was held on June 28 at the Drury Plaza Hotel Santa Fe with over 150 people in attendance. With support from sponsors, guests, volunteers, staff and Board of Directors, over $60,000 was raised that night to support our mission! ICS will use these funds for many needs at the shelter from more beds in the women’s dormitory to a desperately needed new ice maker in the kitchen.
Cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres was on the hotel’s rooftop with views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The gourmet dinner was held in a ballroom in the hotel. Talented chefs, donating their time, expertise and food prepared a delicious dinner served with wine.
Tony Blankenship, chef at Rio Chama, coordinated this year’s group of chefs who all contributed to this amazing dinner for Chefscapades.
